My Father qualified as a Doctor and joined the RAF as a Flight Lieutenant and posted to RAF Warmwell. He met my Mother there, who was also a WRAF Flight Lieutenant. I have a silver salver, presented to my Father inscribed “Presented to “BABS” from 234 Squadron 1942 “ which I believe was at the time he was posted to Pakistan – or India as it was then. 1942 was also the year I was born !!

I have several old photos, all, I believe taken at Warmwell. My Mother who is still with at 95, remembers the Officers Mess !!

I would have thought my Old Man would appear in some records somewhere.
